What I think this movie potrays is that people sometimes do get married to people who they are not compatable with. What happens if you find love after marriage? Rani and Sharukh went ahead and had the affair. There are many people who do it. IS it better to cheat your spouses and have that affair or break away from the spouses and find happiness. I think life is short and one needs to find happiness. What haunted me for days was the punch line of the movie. Believe it or not I woke up to that most days. "We found love ultimately but it is sad that we left some broken hearts in the interim". Something like that. It is sad that Abhishek and PRiety were left broken hearted. But if you see Abhishek loved Rani a lot but never wanted to listen to her or do what she likes. It was all about him and he was so childish. On the other hand Priety was so busy with her career she was not there for Sharukh and the son. She comes home to them, but that is not enough. What Priety said was true if a man is busy with his career no one says anything. But the wife is suffering and she is upset that her husband has no time for her. So even though the wife does not say anything to her man she is still sad. So it is about finding the right person to spend your life with. I think the movie had a message which the Indian audience including me had a difficult time digesting. I think Karan Johar did a good job and even though I found it hard to accept the ending I think a movie well made. You do not have to have mean and bad spouses to break a marriage. IT is about compatability. I think everyone has to find happiness and has a right to live happily!

 

 

Plus Points: Movie well made. I think Karan portrayed it that you do not have to have a husband who is bad or a wife who is dead to find happiness again. There are tons of people who do not find happiness in their current relationship.

 

Minus Points: No minus all plus!!
